My Client is seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to join their team. You will represent the interests of our clients by ensuring the quality of materials and workmanship on construction sites meets design specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Study contract drawings, schedules, and consultant/specialist information
- Review programme for further information issuance
- Examine bills of quantities and specifications
- Assess the Health and Safety Plan for each project
- Reference relevant British Standards and Approved Codes of Conduct
- Establish communication with the Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor, architect, and contractor’s site/project manager
- Clarify contract standards with the Employer’s Agent
- Advise on materials, construction details, and samples as requested
- Assemble and record site documents, clarifying their use
- Record findings in a clear, report-style format

Qualifications & Experience
- Member of the Institute of Clerk of Works or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ practical construction experience monitoring works on site
