Head of Property Maintenance

Centre Point Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a successful multi-office estate agency based in Surrey.

 

This company is looking to recruit a Head of Property Maintenance for a newly created role. The post holder will oversee a team of two, who are responsible for the maintenance and compliancy of a large portfolio of residential properties.

 

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Handling all property maintenance issues and reporting them via the CRM.
  • Obtaining quotations from contractors and arranging maintenance works.
  • Liaise with tenants, landlords and contractors to ensure all statutory certificates (EPCs, gas/electrical safety, boiler services, PAT testing etc.) are in place and renewed, as necessary.
  • Dealing with the end of tenancy process including deposit returns, negotiating between landlord and tenant to resolve any issues.
  • Supervising 2 Property Maintenance Coordinators.

 

 

Key requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within property maintenance/management (essential).
  • ARLA qualified (essential).
  • A full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential).
  • An element of staff supervision experience.
  • Experience of using Reapit.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work autonomously when required.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Superb organisational and time management skills.
  • Well-presented and professional at all times.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good sense of humour.

 

 

Location: Surrey

Hours: 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm Saturday (1 in 3)

Salary: £35,000 – £37,000

Driving licence: Essential (and own vehicle)
