Centre Point Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a successful multi-office estate agency based in Surrey.
This company is looking to recruit a Head of Property Maintenance for a newly created role. The post holder will oversee a team of two, who are responsible for the maintenance and compliancy of a large portfolio of residential properties.
Main responsibilities:
- Handling all property maintenance issues and reporting them via the CRM.
- Obtaining quotations from contractors and arranging maintenance works.
- Liaise with tenants, landlords and contractors to ensure all statutory certificates (EPCs, gas/electrical safety, boiler services, PAT testing etc.) are in place and renewed, as necessary.
- Dealing with the end of tenancy process including deposit returns, negotiating between landlord and tenant to resolve any issues.
- Supervising 2 Property Maintenance Coordinators.
Key requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within property maintenance/management (essential).
- ARLA qualified (essential).
- A full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential).
- An element of staff supervision experience.
- Experience of using Reapit.
- Excellent team player with the ability to work autonomously when required.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Superb organisational and time management skills.
- Well-presented and professional at all times.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A good sense of humour.
Location: Surrey
Hours: 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm Saturday (1 in 3)
Salary: £35,000 – £37,000
Driving licence: Essential (and own vehicle)
