Position: Lettings Accounts Assistant
Salary: £28,000 to £34,000
Hours – Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm
Location: South West London
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lettings Accounts Assistant to join our clients dynamic lettings team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the lettings process, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile rental income and expenditure accounts.
- Process tenant deposits and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with the preparation of tenancy agreements and invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to lettings.
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, and internal teams to resolve any account-related queries.
- Support the implementation of financial systems and processes for efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience in property management or lettings accounts is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
