Centre Point Recruitment has exclusively partnered with an ambitious, multi-branch property consultancy, with offices spanning across London. We are assisting them with the recruitment of a Property Manager to join their maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring our properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. With properties up to the value of £10,000,000, it is imperative that the property manager that comes in would be able to liaise and communicate with landlords and tenants that have extremely high expectations.
Main responsibilities:
- Schedule and perform regular inspections of all properties.
- Identify maintenance needs and ensure properties are in excellent condition.
- Plan and manage routine maintenance tasks.
- Schedule repairs and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Address and resolve maintenance requests from tenants promptly
- Maintain a high level of customer service in all interactions.
- Manage emergency repair situations efficiently.
- Ensure emergency issues are resolved quickly to minimize inconvenience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure high-quality work from service providers.
- Stay updated on relevant safety regulations and codes.
- Ensure all properties comply with current safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget.
- Monitor expenses and ensure they stay within budgetary constraints.
- Plan and oversee renovation projects from start to finish.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
- Prioritise and manage the resolution of maintenance issues.
- Ensure all issues are addressed promptly to maintain tenant satisfaction.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role within the real estate or property management sector.
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance, safety regulations, and building codes.
Location: Offices throughout London, can be discussed
Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
Hybrid: After successful completion of probation
Salary: £27,000 – £32,000
