Centre Point Recruitment has partnered with a highly successful and independent property company that specialises in sales, lettings, property management (lettings) and residential block management.
They are looking to recruit a Residential Block Manager to join their proficient team and provide excellent customer service to a portfolio of residential properties situated across West and Central London.
Main duties:
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure buildings are aesthetically pleasing as possible and are a nice place to live.
- Manage external contractors.
- Prepare adequate budgets for all Section 20 planned maintenance and ensure works are carried out to the client’s wishes.
- Attend and chair AGMs.
- Produce efficient responses to all LPE1 forms and pre-contract enquiries.
- Work with the Accounts Team to ensure all Service Charge Accounts are correct and schedules are correctly allocated.
- Ensure all buildings are kept up to date with the latest regulations (fire, H&S, Legionella etc.).
Key requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months experience as a Residential Block Manager, holding responsibility for your own portfolio of buildings.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen effectively.
- Possess a decent grasp of financial figures and budgeting.
- Superb planning and organisational skills.
- Be a real team player with an aptitude for problem solving.
Location: West London
Hours: 9am-6pm Mon-Fri
Hybrid: 1 day of remote working each week
Salary: £36-40k basic salary plus c.£5k in commission (£41-45k OTE)
Driving licence: NOT required
Career development: Progression is readily available to Senior Block Manager and Team Leader positions, along with full support in achieving TPI (previously IRPM) qualifications.
