Position: Senior Lettings Negotiator
Location: Loughton/Chigwell, Essex
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM & Saturdays 9am-5pm (5 Day Working Week) Alternate Saturdays
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Job Overview:
Our client, a well-established property agency, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in lettings to further develop their career in a professional and rewarding environment who is looking to progress into an Assistant Manager position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the lettings process from initial inquiry to completion
- Generating new business through proactive calls, email communication, and networking
- Conducting property viewings, providing detailed information to prospective tenants
- Negotiating rental offers and assisting tenants with moving in
- Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
- Maintaining a strong relationship with landlords, tenants, and colleagues
- Handling renewals, inspections, and resolving any tenancy-related issues
- Achieving targets and contributing to the team’s success
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Lettings Negotiator or Senior Lettings Negotiator
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- A good understanding of the local property market in Loughton and surrounding areas
- Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet targets
- ARLA qualification would be beneficial, though not essential
