Centre Point Recruitment has partnered with an independent property management company based in North London.
They are currently looking to hire an Assistant Property Manager, who, while working as part of a small team, will assist with the management of a portfolio of residential properties.
Duties:
- Managing a small portfolio of residential properties in North London.
- Liaising directly with tenants and landlords.
- Dealing with tenant maintenance issues quickly and effectively.
- First point of contact for all incoming management enquiries.
- Ensuring tenants/contractors and landlords are compliant with statutory and contractual obligations.
- Ensuring all internal and external works are completed quickly.
- Ensuring a high level of customer and client service is always maintained.
- Carrying out quarterly property inspections and arranging inventories & check-outs.
- Preparing tenancy agreements.
- Processing tenancy renewals, Schedule 13 notices and check outs.
- Arranging additional and selective licenses where necessary.
- Arranging contractors to carry out maintenance work.
- Ensuring legal compliance documentation is up to date.
- Be available out of hours to deal with emergency issues as and when they arise.
Required attributes:
- Minimum 1-year Residential Property Management experience.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
Location: North London
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000
Hours: 9am-6pm Monday to Friday (no remote working)
