Job Title: Lettings Manager
Location: Greenwich
Salary: OTE: up to £65,000.00 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 6pm, Friday 8:30am – 6pm, Saturday 9:30am – 4:30pm (Day in Lieu)
Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate for the position of Lettings Manager will be extremely motivated, and career driven with experience in the current rental market, preferably in the Greater London area.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Lettings Agent to enhance a lettings business and drive income growth for the branch. This role requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Increase new lettings business and branch revenue.
- Conduct appraisals and secure instructions for residential rental properties.
- Identify additional business opportunities and refer them to the appropriate divisions.
- Ensure the highest quality of customer care.
- Meet and exceed lettings performance targets.
- Register, qualify, and manage prospective tenants effectively.
- Organize and conduct property viewings, securing successful lets.
- Comply with all legal obligations consistently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available properties.
- Develop and implement effective canvassing and marketing strategies.
- Contribute to the growth of the branch’s core business.
- Hold monthly one-on-one meetings with team members to support their development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a Senior Lettings role with a successful track record in generating new business.
- PropertyMark Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in property listing and valuation.
- Previous line management experience is a plus.
- Exceptional sales skills and a high standard of customer service.
- Positive telephone demeanor and attitude.
- Strong negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated with a tenacious drive to succeed.
- Capability to build and maintain trusted relationships at all levels.
- Adaptable and responsive to change.
