Centre Point Recruitment have partnered with a successful residential and commercial property consultancy based in the West End of London.
They are currently looking to hire a Senior Commercial Property Manager to ensure the efficient and effective management of an assigned commercial property portfolio of c.35 buildings.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure that each lease administration is fully researched and understood in order to manage it to the required RICS standard and in line with current legislation.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliancy with Lease requirements and SLAs.
- Ensure that all buildings are adequately insured, and that all relevant insurance claims are accurately completed and followed-up to a successful completion.
- Liaise with the Credit Control team to deal with financial issues promptly.
- Liaise with approved contractors to ensure they comply with company policies and standards.
- Ensure the correct notices and dilapidation schedules are served correctly and in good time.
- Attend tenant meetings as and when required.
- Contact clients on a regular basis to ensure a seamless level of service, and that client instructions are carried out and accurate reports are provided.
- Communicate any recommendations for adding value to a property, ensuring the client’s best interests are protected at all times.
- Service Charge budgeting.
- Ensure there is planned preventative maintenance of building fabric, mechanical, and electrical plant, including 5- and 10-year plans for major items of equipment.
Candidate profile:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience within commercial property management, having had full accountability for your own portfolio.
- MRICS qualified (preferred, not essential)
- A strong communicator (excellent written and verbal skills).
- Confident, presentable, and articulate.
- Happy to work as part of a small team.
- Outstanding attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Location: West End
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Hours: 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday (no remote working)
Driving licence: Not required
