Centre Point Recruitment has partnered with a highly successful Maintenance company, operating in the luxury/prime sector of the property market. They are looking to recruit a Maintenance Coordinator, with a track record within maintenance, specifically high end luxury residential properties.
Overview:
The Maintenance Coordinator oversees and coordinates maintenance activities for residential and commercial properties. This role ensures that all properties are well-maintained, repairs are conducted promptly, and tenant issues are resolved efficiently
Main duties:
- Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring they fall in line with budgets
- Liaise with contractors and maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Approve the subcontractor invoice and send it to the finance team for payment.
- Liaise with the procurement department for materials.
- Issue reports and invoices to the client
- Respond to client’s maintenance requests and concerns promptly.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, certificated, access confirmations and repairs.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the client to address any compliance issues.
- Evaluate and select contractors for maintenance projects.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with service providers.
- Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to contract terms.
- Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, expenses, and profitability
- Provide updates to the line manager on ongoing projects and potential issues.
Key requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in property management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in property maintenance, construction, property management, or a related field.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in property maintenance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
- Perfect verbal/writing English skills
Location: Prime Central London
Hours: 8am-5pm / Mon-Fri
Hybrid: Can be discussed
Salary: £35-40k basic salary plus c.£5k in commission (£40-45k OTE)
Driving licence: NOT required
